The site lies within the South Cambridge science cluster closely located to Babraham Research Park, Melbourn Science Park, the Wellcome Genome Campus and the Chesterford Research Park.
Planning consent obtained in November 2023 for a 125,000 sq ft sustainable laboratory led scheme reusing and converting the existing buildings where possible, as well as providing much needed amenities to support the local village.
The project will be BREEAM Excellent and targets 30% BNG.
