Gen Two Real Estate become members of UKSPA
Gen Two are proud to be accepted as a member of the UK Science Park Association. We look forward to expanding our growing network within the Life Science Sector and collaboratively working on a number of exciting projects in 2022.
Gen Two Real Estate have exchanged on 60-62 Clapham Road, Oval SW9
60-62 Clapham Road is the latest commercial project for Gen Two. Well located in Zone 2, within the London Borough of Lambeth, the site offers a significant opportunity to provide high quality office space within a Grade II listed building.
The current demise is spread across three buildings totalling 14,000 sq ft. The front building is Grade II listed offering traditional features which we will look to enhance. The plan is to refurbish the office space, and add additional lettable space via planning gain, with the aim of bringing the office space to market for rent in Q2 2022.

Completion of all 29 flats at Portman House, Chertsey in Surrey
Following a successful pre-launch of the scheme in 2020, reserving 25% of the flats on the opening day, the development reached practical completion in March 2021. Despite the pandemic, material shortages and labour complications Gen Two managed to reach practical completion only one month after the initial anticipated completion date. Upon completion, 24 of the 29 homeowners moved into the building by the end of the month. The final 5 homeowners moved into the building by the end of June 2021.
Gen Two are delighted with the result on Portman House. The building provides a high quality finish at affordable prices, which led to an extremely efficient sales process. The aim was to provide the best quality flat for the price within a 5/10 mile radius, attracting a number of purchasers using Help To Buy. Further planning gain was achieved, unlocking a further development at the rear of the car park for 6 flats.
